This blog focuses on issues in mainly high-tech Sales, occasionally also expanding into some areas of Marketing, Strategy, and Economics. The articles are mostly based on field experience, sometimes inspired by leading-edge academic research from University of Cologne, Insead, HBS and others.
I have more than 15 years experience in sales and marketing management in the IT and telecommunications industry. I started my career in the mid nineties at Siemens in business strategy development and management consulting for the Communications division. Since 2000 I have been working for multiple start-up companies, two of them I also co-founded. I built up several new business units and startups from 0 to multi-millions in revenues with a specific focus on early stage sales growth.
